The Mopar gooseneck prep kit (Part Number: 82213981AB) is a heavy-duty assembly kit that enables your Ram for gooseneck towing. Ram offers an underbed mounting system for fifth-wheel hitches as an option for its newest models. This system is used for towing heavy-duty trailers with ease and without damaging any part of your towing system.

The kit comes with various components made from durable steel and can be assembled to serve as a frame and bracket. The assembly can be installed underneath your truck bed for a more rigid towing system for your ride.

This gooseneck prep kit will require you to insert the cross arm brackets from the rear wheel access points. This will then connect to the frames under your truck bed, centering the gooseneck for attaching other brackets. Once the frame and brackets are bolted, you may also need to remove or trim around the area to provide space for the gooseneck hitch.
